Brave New Words 2019-20 Season
Under the helm of Artistic Director Ari Weinberg, the Winnipeg Jewish Theatre has begun exploring new and challenging theatre. The 2019-20 season saw an expansion from three plays to four with themes of racism, transgender within an orthodox congregation and the Israel/Palestine dilemma. Doowah Design, the studio of record for WJT, looked at the season and developed an illustration style to unify the look as well as creating individual illustration for each play. There were, at times, complex concepts to be described that had to been understood instantly and we believe that our work has been successful in achieving that goal.
We have created print pieces, digital items, signage and posters as well as TV commercials and social media. No matter the media, there has been a consistent look and feel to the marketing to build on public impressions
